On May 6th of each year, at 7:25 p.m., NLHS hosts a memorial service for those who lost their lives in the Hindenburg and all airship accidents throughout history.  The memorial service is held at the Hindenburg Memorial, located at NAES Lakehurst. 

(Due to the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the heightened security alert at the base, attendance for the annual memorial services is for NLHS members and invited guests.)
